Lopez commented on the season, saying, "This whole situation was really unexpected and it's unfortunate the way things played out, but that's life. Things happen the way they do, and you just have to keep pushing. There's no time to pout about it because time is not going to stop for anyone. It's sad not being able to see the end results for the successes we had during the duration of this season, but I think it opened people's eyes and raised the expectations for OLLU baseball. Now it's time to grind it out when we can get ready to complete unfinished business next year."
Lopez's hobby is music production and his athletic role model is MMA fighter and boxer Conor McGregor.
