WACO, TEXAS (April 13, 2021) -- Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Track and Field Athletes of the Week have been announced for the dates of April 5-11 with this week's honorees including Our Lady of the Lake University's (OLLU) Nadia Sifuentes (SO/Brownsville, Texas) and Nathaniel Rodriguez (SO/San Antonio, Texas). This is the fourth set of weekly track and field awards for the 2021 outdoor season.

Sifuentes placed 26th in a field of 51 runners at the University of the Incarnate Word (Texas) Invitational on Friday. The sophomore from Brownsville, Texas, competed in her first 1500-Meter Run and posted a time of 5:04.84. 

Rodriguez moved into second place in the OLLU record books with a time of 14:45.01 in the 5000-Meter Run at the UIW Invitational. The sophomore from San Antonio came within 22 seconds of his best time ever and finished 16th against 39 runner
