SAN ANTONIO (Sept. 4, 2021) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) cross-country teams competed in the first event of the 2021 season – the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) Cross-Country Twilight in San Antonio on Sept. 3.
Head Coach Patrick Torres commented, "We got some of the rust off tonight. It was an electric environment with some of the best competition you can ask for in the state. I think we let the moment get the better of us, but the more often we line up against the competition, the better we will get. Our takeaway from today is still positive. We'll see these teams again, and we'll get a chance to run it back."
