SAN ANTONIO (Sept. 18, 2021) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's cross-country team placed fourth in the inaugural OLLU-Holy Cross High School Westside Classic held at Pearsall Park this morning.
Winning the 6k was St. Edward's University with a score of 34, followed by Texas A&M International University with 39 points, the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley with 59 points, OLLU with 107 points, Texas A&M University – Kingsville with 133 points, Texas Lutheran University with 163 points and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with 170 points.
The Saints' top finisher was Nadia Sifuentes (JR/Brownsville, Texas), who placed fourth among 65 runners. Her time was 24:23. She was followed by Jasmine Hernandez (FR/San Antonio, Texas) with a time of 25:49, Sierra Ramirez (FR/San Antonio, Texas) – 26:33, Viridiana Zuniga (SO/San Antonio, Texas) – 27:14, Peyton Lammons (SR/Prosper, Texas) – 27:59 and Lindsey Broussard (JR/Houston, Texas) – 28:13.
The Saints will get set for their next meet at the University of the Incarnate Word on Oct. 2.
