The Saints and Pilots played a rough match that resulted in seven yellow cards. The latter part of the first half was quiet, with a few fouls and a shot from Shreveport.
Said Salas (FR/El Paso, Texas) scored in what would become the game-winning goal six minutes into the second half. The aggressive play from both sides resulted in six yellow cards during the frame.
