HAWKINS, TEXAS (Oct. 18, 2021) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's soccer team used a strong second half to defeat Jarvis Christian College (JCC) 7-1 on Saturday. The Saints improve to 9-5 overall and 6-2 in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC). Jarvis drops to 4-9 overall and 3-4 in conference play.
Head Coach Arthur Salazar commented, "It was good to see the team finally find the intensity and execution needed to get the win after a slow start. Playing on a small field is challenging, but the team did a good job of opening up spaces and finding the penetrating movement to create a number of scoring opportunities."
