TEXARKANA, TEXAS (Nov. 13, 2021) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's soccer team fell to Louisiana Christian University (LCU) 1-0 in the championship match of the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Tournament. The Saints finish the season with a 13-6-1 overall record, and LCU moves to 16-1-1.
Head Coach Arthur Salazar commented, "Unfortunately, it wasn't the result we were hoping for, but I am extremely proud of how the team competed today. They have grown so much throughout the season, and it showed today. I would like to thank our seniors who have done a fantastic job leading us. This group came in and made an immediate impact on the program, helping to guide us to one tournament semifinal and three straight tournament finals. I am honored to have been able to work with them and thank them for their commitment to the program."
History
The Saints are 0-2 against LCU. They lost earlier this season 0-2.
Basics
The Saints shot once in the first half, while LCU had three shots; all three went high.
