OLLU's Dominance Continues With 11th RRAC All-Sports Award
WACO, Texas (May 13, 2026) – Our Lady of the Lake was crowned the 2025-26 Red River Athletic Conference All-Sports Award champion following another big year for the Saints. OLLU wins for the second consecutive year, and the Saints have now earned the award in 11 of the last 13 years.
The All-Sports Award is given annually to the RRAC athletic program that performs best across the conference's sports in a given academic year. Points are awarded to the top five teams in regular season conference standings using a 10-8-6-4-2 scoring system, while results in conference tournaments and championship events merit additional points on a 5-4-3-2-1 basis. In sports such as tennis, track & field, golf and cross country, postseason team finishes are awarded regular season and postseason points. A sport must have at least four schools participating and conduct a RRAC tournament to qualify for inclusion in point calculations.

"Winning the RRAC All-Sports Award for the 11th time is a tremendous honor and a testament to the collective commitment to excellence across Our Lady of the Lake athletics," says OLLU Athletic Director Tom Norris. "This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our student-athletes, coaches, athletic trainers, support staff, and everyone who pours into our programs each day.
"We are especially grateful for the continued support of President Chavez (Abel Antonio Chávez, MBA, PhD), university leadership, faculty, and staff, whose belief in our mission allows our student-athletes to thrive both academically and competitively. Success like this is only possible because of the culture of service, accountability, and teamwork that exists throughout our campus community.
"Most importantly, I want to recognize our student-athletes for the sacrifice, discipline, and passion they bring every day in representing OLLU with pride. Reclaiming the RRAC All-Sports Award speaks to the strength of our entire Saints family, and we look forward to continuing to build on that tradition of excellence."
