Brandon Postell completed his third season with the OLLU Women's Basketball team as a graduate assistant coach. He joined the coaching staff in 2016-2017 after spending the last five years as a varsity basketball coach in the San Antonio area. Postell assists the coaches with individual workouts, practice plans, recruiting and scouting duties. 

After graduating high school in Houston, Postell enlisted into the U.S. Army in August 2002, where he served on active duty until 2009. While serving his country, he was awarded many honors, including the Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Certificate of Achievement Award, National Defense Service Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Army Service Ribbon. While serving in the military, he continued to pursue his love for coaching by helping with and initiating various sporting endeavors.

In 2011, Postell began working with the C.A.E.O.S. Foundation (Creating Access to Educational Opportunities through Sports) as a basketball camp coach and mentor to student-athletes. This organization provides athletes with multilevel support in their pursuit of obtaining a college education.

Since 2015, Postell has worked with The Basketball Embassy as a player development coach and camp coordinator in its pursuit to provide basketball instruction and diplomacy through the game to players, coaches and organizations alike, in more than 10 different countries in the eastern European area. 

Postell graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management at OLLU.
