OLLU Dance Team Secures National Top-Three Ranking in New Orleans
New Orleans, LA- Under the bright lights of New Orleans at Xavier University, the OLLU Dance Team delivered a historic performance at the Battle of the Big Easy, earning national recognition and setting a new program milestone. Competing over two days against top collegiate programs, OLLU placed second overall at the competition and finished ranked third in the nation with a final score of 91.75.
The event was won by Loyola University, which placed first overall and currently holds the top ranking in the NAIA with a score of 94.68. OLLU's result marked the highest score the program has ever achieved at the Battle of the Big Easy, reflecting the team's continued growth and competitive excellence on a national stage.
Throughout the competition, the OLLU Dance Team demonstrated consistency, technical strength, and performance quality across multiple rounds. The team earned round scores of 93.34, 90.18, 91.34, and 92.12, highlighting their ability to perform at a high level across the entirety of the event.
