OLLU Saints Cruise to Dominant 103–42 Victory
San Antonio, Texas- The night belonged to Our Lady of the Lake University. From the opening tip, the Saints played like a team with something to prove, dominating every facet of the game against Westgate Christian University. The final score 106–42, captured the magnitude of the performance. It was a statement.
From the very first possession, OLLU set the tone with energy, discipline, and precision. Wahkil Lopez made his presence known early, crashing the glass with force and finishing through contact. His 12 rebounds and 13 points anchored the Saints on both ends, making life miserable for Westgate's smaller lineup. Every time Westgate tried to push inside, Lopez was there to clean it up and start the break the other way.
Jaydin Morin-Bishop put on a shooting clinic. Smooth from beyond the arc and explosive off the dribble, he dropped 17 points in just 15 minutes. His confidence seemed to spread across the team, each possession more fluid and connected than the last. When Kenyon Elliott joined the scoring flurry with tough midrange jumpers and hard drives to the rim, Westgate simply had no answer.
Isaiah Moore's hustle defined OLLU's intensity. Every loose ball, every passing lane, Moore was there, finishing with 9 points and 4 steals, sparking several fast breaks that brought the home crowd to its feet. Behind him, Arthur Celestin Jr. provided steady inside scoring and rebounding, while the bench continued the onslaught without missing a beat.
OLLU's depth was shown throughout the match. Devontae Da Costa came off the bench firing, draining two threes and scoring 12 efficient points. Caleb Richardson brought power and poise inside, adding 10 points and 7 rebounds. Santiago Ochoa hit all his shots and handed out crisp assists. It was a total team performance, built on trust and rhythm.
Westgate, on the other hand, could never find their footing. The Saints defense was suffocating, forcing 32 turnovers and holding their opponents to a dismal 26% shooting from the field. Every attempted run from Westgate was quickly snuffed out by OLLU's relentless pressure and fast-paced offense.
By halftime, the outcome was already clear. Yet OLLU never eased up. They played with the same hunger and discipline from start to finish, showing why they're one of the most dangerous teams in the conference. When the final buzzer sounded, the scoreboard read 106–42, and the Saints walked off the court with heads high.
The Saints move to 2-1 overall on the year. OLLU will take on Southern Oregon on Friday, away at Klamath Falls at 7:00 PM CST.
