Saints Depth Shines in 30-Point Win

San Antonio, Texas- The Our Lady of the Lake University men's basketball team delivered one of its most complete performances of the season, earning a decisive 108–78 victory over UNT Dallas. The Saints controlled the game with balanced scoring, dominant rebounding, and an explosive bench effort that overwhelmed the Trailblazers from start to finish.

OLLU showcased a highly efficient offensive attack, shooting 43.9 percent from the field and an impressive 46.9 percent from beyond the arc. The Saints depth was a major factor, with 52 points coming from the bench and multiple players contributing meaningful minutes. Devontae Da Costa led the starters with 14 points, knocking down two threes and maintaining steady production on both ends. Kenyon Elliott added 13 points and eight rebounds, providing physicality at the rim and converting 7-of-8 free throws.

Arthur Celestin Jr. anchored the interior with a strong double-double performance, scoring 10 points and collecting a game-high 12 rebounds. Jaydin Morin-Bishop added 10 points, including two three-pointers, while Isaiah Moore contributed nine points, three assists, and three steals, helping direct the Saints offense and maintain defensive pressure.

The Saints bench played a major role in building and extending the lead. Matthew Gonzalez was a standout, scoring 12 points on four made three-pointers, giving OLLU reliable perimeter shooting off the bench. Barack Holland added nine points and two steals, while DJ Smith provided eight points in just eight minutes of action. Jeremy Irwin contributed seven points and six rebounds, offering valuable minutes in the paint, and Santiago Ochoa's 7-point, 3-assist effort highlighted his versatility.

On the glass, OLLU was dominant, outrebounding UNT Dallas 49–35 and pulling down 16 offensive boards that led to numerous second-chance opportunities. Their defensive activity also stood out with 11 steals, creating transition opportunities that helped the Saints push the game out of reach.

While UNT Dallas had moments of efficiency, shooting 48.1 percent from the field, OLLU's ability to control tempo, force turnovers, and convert from deep proved decisive. The Trailblazers struggled to keep pace with the Saints' sustained scoring runs and the depth of OLLU's rotation.

The 108–78 victory not only highlights the team's confidence and cohesion but also demonstrates the Saints' ability to combine rebounding strength, perimeter accuracy, and defensive intensity into a dominant performance. With contributions from across the roster, OLLU showcased the type of complete game that will continue to set the tone for the remainder of the season as they travel to Jarvis Christian on Thursday.
