Saints Come Up Short Against TAMUT

San Antonio, Texas- Our Lady of the Lake battled throughout but fell 83–75 to Texas A&M University–Texarkana in a competitive conference matchup.

The Saints delivered one of their more efficient offensive performances of the season, shooting 47.7 percent from the field and an impressive 50 percent from three-point range. They also converted 27-of-35 free throws, keeping consistent pressure on the scoreboard and remaining within reach deep into the second half.

Barack Holland led OLLU with 22 points, knocking down three three-pointers and going 13-of-15 from the free-throw line. He added seven rebounds in 34 minutes. Jermey Irwin provided a strong interior presence, finishing with 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting and collecting six rebounds. DJ Smith was efficient off the bench, scoring six points on 2-of-2 shooting while adding two free throws.

The Saints showed balance across the lineup. Isaiah Moore contributed six points and a block, Santiago Ochoa added five points and four rebounds, and Davonte Durst provided five points and three assists off the bench. Arthur Celestin Jr. added five points and five rebounds, helping OLLU secure a 37–36 edge on the glass.

Turnovers proved to be a decisive factor. While Texarkana committed just eight, OLLU had 22, limiting additional scoring opportunities despite their efficient shooting percentages. The Saints' defensive effort included five blocks and solid interior rebounding, but the possession gap created by turnovers ultimately impacted the final margin.

The Saints finish the season 16-12 overall and 15-7 in conference play.
