Fort Worth, Texas- The OLLU men's golf team took on a highly competitive field at the Spring Invite, facing programs from across the region including Oklahoma City, Texas Wesleyan, and Tyler Junior College. Over three rounds, the tournament demanded low scoring and consistency, with several players finishing under par and many more hovering near even.

At the top of the leaderboard, Oklahoma City's Christian Yanovitch set the tone with an impressive 10-under performance, separating himself with a strong opening round and closing steady. Texas Wesleyan's Sebastian Velasquez and Tyler JC's Noah Sandlin followed closely behind, highlighting the depth of talent present throughout the field.

For OLLU, Niall Langley-Brook delivered the team's top performance, finishing tied for 21st at 4-over. His rounds of 3-over, even par, and 1-over showcased a steady approach, particularly in the middle round where he held firm against difficult conditions. His consistency kept him competitive in a tightly packed portion of the leaderboard.

Juan Limon added another solid showing, finishing tied for 33rd at 8-over. After opening with a 5-over round, he improved in the second round with a 1-over performance before closing with a 2-over. His progression throughout the tournament reflected an ability to adjust and remain composed against a challenging field.

OLLU had two players finish tied for 44th, as Victor Pena-Cortes and Ozil Trey Salinas both posted 11-over totals. Pena-Cortes recorded rounds of 5-over, 5-over, and 1-over, finishing his tournament on a positive note with his lowest round. Salinas followed a similar trajectory, bouncing back from an opening 6-over with improved play across the final two rounds. Their efforts added depth to the OLLU lineup and demonstrated resilience across all three days.

Jake Casias, competing as an individual, finished tied for 56th at 16-over. His rounds of 8-over, 5-over, and 3-over showed gradual improvement as the tournament progressed. Alex Marshall followed closely behind in a tie for 58th at 17-over, posting consistent rounds throughout the event.

Overall, the Spring Invite presented a strong test for the OLLU men against one of the deeper fields of the season. Competing alongside multiple under-par performances at the top, the team gained valuable experience and showed moments of consistency that can be built upon moving forward.
