Niall Langley-Brook Leads Saints To Runner Up Finish

Hobbs, NM- The Our Lady of the Lake University men's golf team turned in an impressive performance at the RRAC Men's Golf Championships, finishing second overall in a competitive field and placing multiple golfers near the top of the individual leaderboard.

Leading the way for the Saints was Niall Langley-Brook, who secured a runner-up individual finish with a three-round total of +5. Langley-Brook opened the tournament with rounds of +5 and +3 before closing strong with a -3, one of the best rounds in the field. His steady play and ability to finish under par in the final round kept OLLU in contention throughout the championship.

Alex Marshall added another strong showing for the Saints, tying for ninth place at +18. Marshall demonstrated consistency across all three rounds, posting identical scores of +6 each day. His balanced performance provided a reliable contribution to the team's overall score.

Juan Limon finished 16th at +23, recording rounds of +8, +10, and +5. Limon showed improvement as the tournament progressed, delivering his lowest round on the final day to help solidify OLLU's position in the standings.

Ozil Trey Salinas followed closely, tying for 17th at +24. After opening with a +12 round, Salinas rebounded with a +5 in the second round before finishing at +7. His resilience across the final two rounds contributed valuable strokes to the team total.

Victor Pena-Cortes rounded out the Saints scoring lineup, finishing 24th at +29. He posted rounds of +12, +17, and an even-par effort in the final round, highlighting the team's ability to close the tournament on a positive note.

The Saints finished the season 2nd overall in the Red River Athletic Conference Championships.
