Savary Earns ITA Men's Tennis All-American Selection

SAN ANTONIO (June 17, 2024) - Kyllian Savary of the Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) men's tennis squad was selected to the 2024 ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) NAIA All-American Team. He made the men's singles list after finishing the season in the NAIA ITA Top 20 rankings.

The criteria for ITA All-American recognition are finishing in the Top 20 of the final ITA National Singles Rankings and Top Ten in the final ITA Doubles Rankings. Savary is currently 14th in the ITA rankings for singles. The senior shined this year with a 16-2 singles mark and played the majority of the season on the first line. His notable results included winning the first line in a sweep of No. 12-ranked the University of the Cumberlands and a three-set victory over NCAA D2 University of Texas Permian Basin despite a team loss. OLLU made it to the championship match of the NAIA Unaffiliated Tournament in April and lost to No. 10-ranked Xavier University of Louisiana 4-2. The Saints were ranked No. 23 in the nation when the season ended. Savary is a native of France and joined the Saints in the 2022-2023 season. He has a career singles record of 32-5 with the Saints.
