WACO, TEXAS (April 4, 2023) - Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Track and Field Athletes of the Week have been announced for the dates of March 27-April 2 with this week's honorees including Jalen Bell (men's track - Our Lady of the Lake). This is the fourth set of RRAC track & field weekly awards for the 2023 outdoor season.

Bell set new school records in the 100-meter dash and as a part of the Saints' 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams at the Texas Relays at the University of Texas-Austin. The sophomore sprinter from Killeen, Texas, posted a time of 10.41 in the 100 which qualifies him for the NAIA nationals. Bell and team set a mark of 40.61 in the 4x100m and a mark of 3:14.30 in the 4x400m with Julian Verastegui, Richard Davis and Cerrone Thompson.
