Head Coach Bruce Lenington looks forward to these new student-athletes' contributions to this upcoming squad. The team is coming off a NAIA World Series National Championship—the first in OLLU history. The Saints finished out the season with a 57-3 overall record and a 24-0 Red River Athletic Conference regular-season record.

Alexia Alegria is a native of Hebbronville, Texas, where she graduated from Hebbronville High School. Her awards include Three-Time First-Team All-District shortstop, 2024 First-Team Caller-Times, All-South Texas infielder, Four-Time Caller-Times, All-South Texas infielder, Three-Time Team MVP, 2024 CC Hooks Preseason All-Star Selection and Two-Time Sports Live All-Star Selection. She plans to major in kinesiology.

She commented, "I wanted a high-energy environment centered around winning a national championship day in and day out; that's why I came to OLLU."

Danika Jimenez comes to OLLU from Edinburg, Texas, where she graduated from Robert Vela High School. She plans to major in biology.

Jimenez commented, "My faith in God and softball have led me to OLLU to further my academic studies and be a part of a legacy."

Yezenia Perez is a native of Harlingen, Texas, where she graduated from Harlingen High School South. Her athletic awards include Second-Team All-District, Sophomore of the Year, All-District MVP, THCSA All-State, THCSA Super Elite Team and TGCSA All-State. Perez plans to major in kinesiology.

She said, "I chose to commit to OLLU because I loved the atmosphere of both the team and campus. I also enjoyed how competitive this program is."

Brianna Ramirez, who is from San Antonio, graduated from Brennan High School. She was named to the All-District First Team and will major in kinesiology.

Ramirez commented, "I chose OLLU because it's home and will give me the opportunity to grow and challenge myself through academics while being a part of such a special softball program."

Ayanna Trejo is a native of San Antonio, where she graduated from Warren High School. She plans to major in kinesiology.

Trejo said, "I was drawn to OLLU for several compelling reasons. The warm family environment immediately struck me when I met the players, who welcomed me with open arms. Coach Lenington and the entire coaching staff made me feel valued and embraced from our very first interaction. Surrounded by talented teammates, I knew I could challenge myself to grow and excel as a player. Additionally, the school's strong religious foundation deeply resonates with me, and I admire what it stands for. I am filled with excitement as I anticipate beginning this new chapter at OLLU.

The Saints will play a handful of games in the fall and kick off their official season in the spring.
