Saints Dominate Wildcats In Three Game Sweep

San Antonio, Texas- Our Lady of the Lake delivered a complete and consistent performance across all three games of the series against Louisiana Christian, combining effective pitching with timely hitting to secure a sweep.

In the opening game, OLLU established control early behind a strong offensive showing and a dominant outing in the circle. The Saints collected 13 hits en route to a 6–1 victory. Marisa Rosales led the offense with a home run and three runs batted in, while Caitlin Casas contributed three hits and an RBI. Alyssa Guzman added two hits, including a double, and drove in a run. Additional contributions came from Reanna Aguirre and Boston Tijerina, as the lineup produced runs consistently throughout the game.

Annika Litterio anchored the win with a complete-game performance, allowing just two hits and one unearned run while striking out seven. She maintained control throughout, limiting scoring opportunities and setting the tone for the series.

The second game followed a similar pattern, with OLLU relying on pitching efficiency and situational hitting to secure a 5–0 win. Valeria Vielma delivered a dominant complete-game shutout, allowing only one hit and striking out nine. Her command kept Louisiana Christian off balance and prevented any sustained offensive momentum.

Offensively, the Saints capitalized on opportunities despite a lower hit total. Yezenia Perez led the way with a perfect 3-for-3 performance, scoring twice. Alyssa Guzman continued her strong series with two hits and an RBI, while Arianna Alejandro added two hits and drove in a run. Runs were generated through disciplined at-bats and productive outs, including sacrifice situations that allowed OLLU to extend its lead.

In the series finale, OLLU completed the sweep with a decisive 10–1 victory in five innings. After trailing early, the Saints responded with a seven-run second inning, taking advantage of defensive miscues and delivering key hits in crucial moments. Yezenia Perez again played a central role, recording two doubles and driving in three runs. Arianna Alejandro and Reanna Aguirre each contributed RBIs, while Caitlin Casas added an extra-base hit and scored twice.

Litterio returned to the circle and earned her second win of the series, allowing one run on two hits over five innings while striking out seven. Despite issuing two walks, she effectively managed the game and limited Louisiana Christian's offense to minimal production.

Across the three games, OLLU demonstrated depth on both sides of the ball. The pitching staff allowed just three runs in the series, with Litterio and Vielma combining for multiple complete-game efforts and consistently limiting hits. Offensively, the team produced timely hits, utilized speed on the bases, and capitalized on opponent errors to create scoring opportunities.

The sweep highlighted OLLU's ability to execute in multiple facets of the game, showing consistency, discipline, and balanced contributions throughout the lineup.
