WACO, TEXAS (Dec. 13, 2022) - Natalia Trevino of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) earned the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week award for her performance over the dates of Dec. 5-11. This is the sixth conference award of the 2022-23 women's basketball season. 

Trevino averaged 22.0 points per game in a pair of conference victories for the Saints. The senior guard from Laredo, Texas, accounted for 20 points and seven rebounds in a 62-58 win over Texas College on Thursday, and notched 24 points and seven boards to sink Jarvis Christian University, 70-50. Trevino was 16-of-31 from field goal range, including 7-of-16 on three-point attempts. She also tacked on five steals. Trevino is sixth in the RRAC with 13.8 points per game this season. OLLU stayed unbeaten in conference play at 4-0 with an overall mark of 7-3.
