SAN ANTONIO (Jan. 10, 2025) – The Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) women's basketball team fell to Louisiana Christian University (LCU) on Thursday night by a score of 57-52. The Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) loss drops the Saints to 6-10 overall and 4-9 in RRAC action.

By the Numbers

• Julia Plata led all scorers with 20 points on the night to go with four steals and three rebounds. Plata has now scored in double figures in 14 of 16 games played and has scored 20 or more points six time.
• Desiree Rogers was a high-level rim protector against the Wildcats as the junior collected seven blocked shots to go with seven rebounds in 21 minutes of action.
• Carlea Owens and Alexandra Westerdijk Martin each finished with seven rebounds while Evangeline Hernandez led the Saints with eight boards in the loss.
• OLLU outscored the Wildcats 20-12 in the final 10 minutes of action.
