OLLU Golf's Madelyn Miller Receives Academic All-District Recognition
SAN ANTONIO (May 25, 2023) – Golf's Madelyn Miller of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) has been selected to the 2022-2023 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large Team. The program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
College Sports Communicators (formerly the College Sports Information Directors of American – CoSIDA), such as OLLU's 17-year member Patricia Constantin, submit nominees for consideration. The organization boasts more than 3,000 members, and all are eligible to vote for all sports teams each year.
As an Academic All-District® honoree, Miller will advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
Miller had a productive season beginning at the Lady Bulldog Classic, where she shot two-round 191. In the UHV Fall Classic, she shot a 178 for 11th place. At the Crusader Invitational, she shot a one-round 84. She shot a two-round 162 at the Claud Jacobs Invitational. She placed 17th at the Schreiner Shootout with a two-round 162. At the Battle at the Primm, Miller shot a two-round 158. She finished the season at the Continental Athletic Conference Championships where she shot a two-round 165 for 13th place.
Miller is a three-time Red River Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete. She is majoring in Early Education and Psychology. Miller earned a 3.75 GPA.
