Women's Golf Opens Spring at The Trailblazer
LAS VEGAS – The Our Lady of the Lake (OLLU) women's golf team earned a ninth-place finish at The Trailblazer, their first tournament of the spring. After shooting 352 on day one at TPC at Summerlin, the Saints fired a 329 at Bear's Best for a two-round total of 681.
OLLU carded 64 pars and eight birdies in the 36-hole event.
Embry Riddle (AZ) claimed the top spot in the tournament with rounds of 321-306.
Annabelle Reyna was the top finisher for the Saints as she carded rounds of 78 and 89 to finish in a tie for 29th place.
After firing an 89 during round one, Ceci Lattuada bounced back with a seven-over 79 in the second round, putting her in 35th place.
Grayson Weiler finished 40th shooting 176 (92-84) while Kendall Ward carded a two-round total of 179 (93-86). Alahnna Limones finished in 48th with rounds of 93-90. Samantha Garcia carded a second-round 80, the third lowest round of the tournament for the Saints.
The Saints will return to the course next week as they travel to Kerrville to compete in the Schreiner Shoot-out at Comanche Trace.
