SAN ANTONIO (May 10, 2023) – Saskia Vogelzang of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) has been selected to the 2022-2023 Academic All-District® Women's Tennis Team. The program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

College Sports Communicators (formerly the College Sports Information Directors of American – CoSIDA), such as OLLU's 17-year member Patricia Constantin, submit nominees for consideration. The organization boasts more than 3,000 members, and all are eligible to vote for all sports teams each year.

As an Academic All-District® honoree, Vogelzang will advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.

Saskia Vogelzang joined the Saints team in 2022. She was part of the 2022 team that earned NAIA Scholar Team honors. Last season, she earned Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Scholar-Athlete recognition. Vogelzang is a business administration and economics major. She earned a 3.80 GPA.
