WACO, TEXAS (March 28, 2023) - Red River Athletic Conferece (RRAC) Track and Field Athletes of the Week have been announced for the dates of March 20-26 with this week's honorees including Deandra Ibarra and Makhayla Parker. This is the third set of RRAC track and field weekly awards for the 2023 outdoor season. Parker has now been recognized three times while Ibarra brings in her second award.

Ibarra placed first at Texas State University (TXST) while setting a new Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) mark in the 800-meter run. The freshman distance runner from San Benito, Texas, recorded a time of 2:18.69 for her second consecutive weekly award. 

Parker was OLLU's top performer in the long jump at TXST. The senior from San Antonio, posted a leap of 4.85 meters.
