WACO, TEXAS (Sept. 19, 2022) - Lauren Reynard of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) earned recognition as the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Volleyball Setter of the Week for Sept. 12-18. OLLU's Tina Trevino was named RRAC Defender of the Week for the same dates. This is the fourth set of conference awards for the 2022 volleyball season. 

Reynard delivered 9.4 assists per set in a 2-1 week for the Saints. The freshman setter from San Antonio set 44 assists in a 3-1 victory over Texas A&M University-Texarkana on Saturday, one day after providing 36 in a sweep of TAMUT. Reynard accounted for 103 assists for the week, and she is leading the conference with 8.9 assists per set on the season. OLLU remained unbeaten in conference play at 4-0 with a 7-4 record overall. 

Trevino compiled 68 digs in the Saints' three matches last week. The sophomore libero from Laredo, Texas, averaged 6.2 digs per set and posted 28 digs in the win over TAMUT on Saturday. Trevino is second in the RRAC in digs (194) and digs per set (5.5) this season.
