WACO, TEXAS (Sept. 26, 2022) - Mia Dorsey of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) claimed the Red River Athletic Conferece (RRAC) Volleyball Attacker of the Week award for Sept. 19-25. OLLU's Tina Trevino repeated as RRAC Defender of the Week for the same dates. This is the fifth set of conference awards for the 2022 volleyball season. 

Dorsey posted a .453 hitting percentage as the Saints won a pair of matches at University of the Southwest (USW). The freshman outside hitter from San Antonio spiked 14 kills in a 3-0 sweep on Friday, and she registered a double-double with 18 kills and 12 digs in a 3-1 victory on Saturday. Dorsey averaged 4.6 kills per set and leads the conference with 170 kills this season. OLLU moved to 6-0 in RRAC play and 9-4 overall. 

Trevino led the Saints' defense with 47 digs and four service aces. The sophomore libero from Laredo, Texas, recorded 23 digs in the first USW match and 24 in the second. Trevino contributed 6.7 digs per set, and she leads the conference in digs per set (5.7) and total digs (241).
