SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 8, 2022) – The 2022 Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Regular-Season Champions Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) will await its opponent in the tournament semifinals scheduled for Friday, Nov. 11.

Semifinals and Championship schedule

The No. 4 seed Louisiana Christian University (LCU) will play No. 5 seed Jarvis Christian University (JCU) in the first semifinals match on Nov. 11 at 10:30 a.m.  In the second match, No. 3 Texas A&M University-Texarkana (TAMUT) will play No. 6 University of the Southwest (USW) at 1 p.m.

OLLU will face the winner of the first match at 4:30 p.m. No. 2 seed Xavier University of Louisiana (XULA) will play the winner of the second match at 7 p.m.

The championship match will take place on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 3 p.m.

All games take place at the XULA Convocation Center in New Orleans.

History

The Saints have won the regular-season title five times – in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2020 and 2022. They have ended their season as postseason quarterfinalists in 2011 and 2012; as semifinalists in 2009, 2010, 2013 and 2018; and finalists in 2008, 2014, 2019 and 2021. The women have won the postseason tournament in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2020.
