KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Dec. 9, 2022) – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the NAIA Volleyball All-American Team. In addition, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the All-American Team for the NAIA as chosen by the NAIA Volleyball All-American Selection Committee. Chosen from Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) as Honorable Mention All-American is Mia Dorsey.

Today's announcement encapsulates a season filled with awards for the freshman outside hitter from San Antonio. She was received Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Freshman of the Year honors and was named to the All-Conference First Team. She also received AVCA Southcentral All-Region First Team and Freshman of the Year recognition. Throughout the season, Dorsey received RRAC Attacker of the Week three times.

Dorsey played in all 26 matches for the Saints, including 88 sets. She led the team in kills with 326 – the fifth most in program history – for 3.47 kills/set on 869 total attacks for a hitting percentage of .232. She added 13 assists, 26 service aces,  203 digs and 57 total blocks.
