WACO, TEXAS (Oct. 7, 2024) – Tina Trevino of Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) was named the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Volleyball Defender of the Week for Sept. 30-Oct. 6. This is the seventh set of weekly winners for the 2024 RRAC volleyball season.  

Trevino's exceptional performance was instrumental in the Saints' back-to-back victories over Jarvis Christian University. She led the team in digs with 52, showcasing her defensive prowess. The senior libero from Laredo, Texas, averaged 6.5 digs per set, and she leads the conference with 423 digs this season. OLLU now sits at 5-1 in the RRAC standings and 12-7 on the season. Trevino has been named Defender of the Week four weeks out of seven this season.
