HOBBS, New Mexico – The Our Lady of the Lake (OLLU) baseball team hit the road for the first time this season, headed west to take on the University of the Southwest (USW) in Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) action.

The Saints took the first two games of the conference doubleheader before falling in the finale to win the series, 2-1. OLLU combined for 32 runs over three games while surrendering 19 to the Mustangs.

Notables

• The OLLU offense hit .349 in the series with seven doubles, three homeruns, and 13 drawn walks.  
• Saints' pitchers fanned 19 USW batters in the series.
• Isaac Davila was productive at the plate, going 6-for-13 with six RBI and three runs scored.
• Alex Rodriguez recorded three hits in five plate appearances, scoring four runs.
• Jack Kalisky drove in 11 runs with a homerun in each of the three games of the series. Kalisky hit .462 with six hits while scoring three runs.
• Joshua Milton collected four hits and four RBI
• Donovan Gamez earned the win in game one, tossing seven innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out five.
