Saints Season Ends In Shreveport

Shreveport, LA- Our Lady of the Lake faced a difficult test against LSU Shreveport, falling 84–41 in conference play.

The Saints competed defensively from the opening tip, forcing 17 steals and applying pressure throughout the game. Zariah Todd set the tone on that end with three steals, while Macie Moss added four and consistently disrupted passing lanes. Despite the defensive activity, OLLU struggled to convert offensively, shooting 21.4 percent from the field and 19.2 percent from three-point range.

Alexandra Westerdijk Martin provided a steady presence for the Saints, leading the team with 16 points on 4-of-9 shooting and a perfect 6-for-6 effort from the free-throw line. Shayla Dede contributed nine points and four rebounds off the bench, while Amya Miller-Singleton went 4-for-4 from the line to add four points. Anissa Cardona added a three-pointer in limited action, and the Saints collectively shot a perfect 12-for-12 from the free-throw line.

On the glass, OLLU recorded 32 total rebounds, with Moss and Westerdijk Martin each securing five. Isabella Jaramillo added four rebounds, and the Saints generated 11 offensive boards, creating additional opportunities despite shooting challenges.

The Saints finish the season 9-20 overall and 8-14 in the conference.
